Sophie De Clercq has followed the Belgian gambling market since 2017 and works through every operator himself with an emphasis on support and limits. Based in Brugge.
The outbound links earn us a fee; the text above does not depend on it. If the licence is missing, it says so, fee or no fee.
How we test. we register like any other player, deposit via Bancontact, file a withdrawal request and measure it through to the account. White or black: we look the operator up at the Gaming Commission and dig through the general terms. What we have not seen ourselves, we do not write.

What the law imposes
The Belgian framework around player protection is more tightly than the Netherlands or France and it is built that way on purpose. Each site automatically applies a €200 weekly ceiling.
The EPIS system is the regulator's central exclusion list: after registration no licensed operator grants you access. Registering costs nothing. The bar has stood at 21 since 1 September 2024, lottery aside; the National Lottery is the exception at 18. Age is verified at registration.
